Astrocolor - We Three Kings

Here's another cool track from Astrocolor.

Jonathan Roy - Driving Home For Christmas

I missed last year, but usually post a version of this tune

every Christmas Eve.

Here is a new one from the son of NHL legend, Patrick Roy.

Dragonette - Merry Xmas (Says Your Text Message)

Dragonette just released their fourth album.

This is their holiday tune from 2012.

Use headphones if you're at work.

Astrocolor - Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

With a mellow electronic, ambient sound,

Astrocolor formed in Victoria, B.C. in 2015.

They plan on releasing a non-holiday album in 2017.

Scott Dion Brown - Santa's Coming (For Revenge)

I have been sitting on a couple good tunes,

just waiting for someone to make a cool video I could share.

This is one of them. From Toronto,

this is singer/songwriter Scott Dion Brown.

Lola Dutronic - The Christmas Disco

I have been sitting on a couple good tunes,

just waiting for someone to make a cool video I could share.

This is one of them. Lola Dutronic, the electro-pop band,

first came to my attention in 2010 with their song

(Another) Christmas Without Snow. This is the new song:

And here is the significantly mellower older one:

Gord Bamford - Baseball Glove

It's Opening Day in the U.S.A.

Here is an Australian born Canadian,

singing about America's Pastime.

Courage My Love - I'll Be Home For Christmas

Well, Christmas is here and I didn't share even half

of the tunes I wanted to.  Life got too busy.

Wait 'til next year. Next year will be awesome!

Lindi Ortega - Christmas Eve With You

Lindi Ortega, with her trademark red lips and red boots,

has a really nice Christmas Eve song for us.

This is from her Tennessee Christmas EP.

Rusty and Savanna - Under the Mistletoe

Check out this cool new original from Winnipeg.

Rusty Matyas, from Imaginary Cities, and wife Savanna have put together a

pretty great Christmas album.

The Payola$ - Christmas is Coming

Here is a great tune by one of the coolest Canadian bands of the 1980s.

Ohbijou - New Years

Here's a swell New Year tune from

the Canadian band, Ohbijou.

"Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors,

and let every new year find you a better man."

~ Benjamin Franklin
