The Elves Of Heaven - This Christmas

Originally the plan was for Martin Clancy and The Elves Of Heaven

to get together every year, and put out a few Christmas tunes.

The best laid plans don't always work out however,

and it looks like it hasn't happened since 2010.

We got this tune and a couple others that year.

Here's hoping they become inspired again one year soon.

Foster & Allen - One Little Christmas Tree

This one is a little schmaltzier than you will usually find here.

No apologies, I'm just warning you.

It's from the legendary Irish duo, and this new song

features Shayne Ward, of X-Factor fame.

The Pogues - Fairytale of New York

Phil Chevron has died. 

He was the guitarist for the Pogues, who are responsible for perhaps the 

best known "alternative" Christmas tune of all-time.
