Poly Styrene - Black Christmas
Poly Styrene was best known as the singer from The X-Ray Spex.
Cancer took her way too soon in 2011,
but not before she recorded a couple of fantastic Christmas songs.
This second one was made with punk rockers, Goldblade.
They are planning to re-release it as a charity single this year.

Chrome Pony - Christmas Babes
Chrome Pony is from Oklahoma, but I can't tell you much else.
I discovered this tune on A Blackwatch Christmas.
It is everything I love in a Christmas tune. Weird, but not too weird.
Well executed and catchy. I think you'll love it too.

The Penguins - White Christmas
I suppose if you are in the tropics, you'll be dreaming of white Christmas
for a long time. The Penguins are a ska band from Spain.
Just like The Drifters did in 1955, they have made this song their own.
Their website tells us that their music appeals to a wide range of ages,
from 16 to 31 years old,
which makes me feel like I should have one foot in the grave.
